What can I say? Troubled relationships, even fictional ones, are very fertile ground for cultivating ideas for song lyrics. With all the different emotions and levels of angst to draw from, they are way easier to write than positive love songs, so thank you for indulging my penchant for taking the challenge less daunting. This is one where the listener gets to fill in the blanks as to what the singer’s indiscretion actually is, which is an improvement for me. I also like that, despite of whatever unpleasantness has transpired, there is still hope for them.
