Another one that took several cracks to find the sparkle, but well worth the chase. I hope one day someone good will run with this one and give it its proper due. I also have the video idea for them; picture (in black and white) a shot of a brightly lit dance floor at a wedding, dark shadows to the perimeter, where the attendees have gathered to watch the first dance. The camera circles the bride and groom trading lip-synched lines to each other in the first verse, the couples’ parents take the dance floor and do the same in the second, and then the whole wedding party steps on for the glorious swirling third, with shots of many people singing the words to each other. Well, they do say love makes the world go ‘round.
